Tameside Special Schools Dance Festival 2016

On Thursday 28th November, our top dance squad represented school at the Dance Festival at Samuel Laycock School.

Shania, Emily, Mark, Charleigh and Josh H danced like a real street dance crew, looking really fabulous in their new t-shirt, dance pants and cap combo's.

Their performance was polished and professional and the audience loved them!

The teachers who accompanied them - MIss Mac, Mrs Butler and Mrs Southall, were so proud of them all!

Special mention to our Year 9's - Shania and Mark.

Shania has been to every dance festival and it has been a pleasure to watch her grow as a performer. Mark, however, has never performed in public before, and despite his initial nerves, loved it and couldn't wait to do it again!

Big thanks:
to Harriet White our dance teacher whose choreography showcased the best of our dancers
to our parents and carers who are a great support crew! (thanks for the help with transport)
Can't wait until next year!
