Last half term, The JP's raised money for the British Heart Foundation, as part of our Enterprise Work.
We learned all about the work of the charity, as well as learning about the way our hearts work. We even cut up real animal hearts!
We hosted a BHF Coffee Morning on Friday 5th February. The school nurse came and gave advice on keeping our hearts healthy including taking blood pressure.
We had a 'keep the bike turning challenge' and we sold lots of Valentine and heart themed gifts.
We raised £132 - Thank you to everyone who supported us.
As well as our coffee morning, we also ran a skipping programme.
The BHF gave us a kit of great skipping resources. We skipped every day and taught other children and adults how to skip too. We had a Skipathon on Friday afternoon - everyone who joined in skipped for a least 10 minutes - including using the big black jump ropes.
Again, thanks to everyone who took part and all of those who gave sponsor money.
