McGough Class welcomed a new member - Jake - who has settled in well and is enjoying being part of our group. Welcome and well done Jake!
We've been busy learning all about inside the body: like the yukky bits such as intestines … and the esophagus ...and interesting facts about our skeleton and bones.
Did you know that babies have more bones than adults?
We studied a novel - 'Storm' by Kevin Crossley-Holland... and used this as inspiration to write our own stories. We didn't like the end of the story - so we decided to write our own!
We did some great art work to go with the book - stormy pictures using pastels and paint.
We're looking forward to next half term when we'll be studying The Romans, doing lots more art and writing and also 'African Beats' in Dance and Music.
