This half term Kipling class have looked at the life and works of Rudyard Kipling. Each class member has produced a Rudyard Kipling biography, created their own ‘Jungle Book’ character and have done some creative script writing using ‘The Jungle Book’ for inspiration.
We have read the book ‘Zom-B’ by Darren Shan which highlights issues around racism alongside the ‘Show Racism the Red Card’ scheme.
For our sport we have been going to the gym and learning safely how to use the different equipment available and we have had sessions using the gymnastic inflatable air track. Kipling class visited Hollywood Bowl for our sports reward trip.
Kipling class worked together to create some fabulous poppy art using air to create the poppies. Our art work has been proudly displayed in Hyde Town Hall. We also created some fantastic pieces of art celebrating 70 years of the NHS.
